Review of NETGALLEY arc The Ballad of Smallhope & Pennyroyal by Jodi Taylor

21 October

I love Taylor’s writing – no one else writes with quite a full-on passion and commitment she infuses in her storytelling, so that I’m frequently rocking with hysterical laughter, yet can find myself sobbing during the next chapter. Needless to say, it was a treat to see this offering appear on the Netgalley dashboard and I immediately requested an arc.

The series, Her Majesty’s Royal Coven by Juno Dawson is one of my all-time favourites – and if you want to know why, then check out my reviews of Her Majesty’s Royal Coven and Shadow Cabinet. Review of NETGALLEY arc Time-Marked Warlock – Book 1 of The Chronos series by Shami Stovall

3 October

It was the cover that drew me to this one – and the fact that I’m a huge fan of well-told time travel stories and an even huger fan of a cracking SFF murder mystery.
