I enjoy Copperman’s writing and this series in particular – see my reviews of And Justice for Mall, Inherit the Shoes, Witness for the Persecution and My Cousin Skinny. I’ve also been enjoying the new series – Ukulele of Death and Same Difference. So it was a bit of a blow to discover this is the last in the series – would Copperman satisfactorily tie up all the loose threads?

Gone are the days when looking after your hatchling is the sole responsibility of the queens in your life. While your instinct is to spend long periods away from your lair with spurious excuses, resist this impulse.
